The second edition of the Fukushima training camp guidebook has undergone several revisions, and now incorporates facilities that cater to the five new sports added to the Tokyo 2020 Games at the IOC Session in August 2016. The guidebook has also been made more accessible and easier to read.

Distribution of the first edition, produced in December 2015, to embassies and sports organisations around the world has been discontinued. The first edition received favourable reviews for its successful use as a PR tool for Fukushima's sports environment.

The second edition will be continue to be used to catch more athletes' attention, and encourage their interest in Fukushima's sports facilities.

As it is marketed towards top athletes and sports organisations, the guidebook will not be distributed to the general public. However, the contents will be made available in PDF format from the Fukushima training camp guide website. (
